A light in the Dark!!! Lighted nock question please help

If you read my post i couldnt find an arrow that i probably could have located if i had a lighted nock. My question is what has worked the best for you. The lumenoks suck in my book i was thinking the g5s or the eastons.
Please let me know what you think and tell me experiences good or bad.

Thanks
Colten

I have used Easton Tracers for two years and have never had one NOT light up for me in probably 500+ shots easy?!?
I did have one break on me when removing from an arrow, but Easton gladly sent me a TWO pack replacement no questions asked just had me send out the broken one too them to look at!!

I happen to like the tracer nocks. They helped me to findan arrow in the dark. Wish I had em last year...

I never had a lumenock NOT light up. If they made them for a/c/c's....I'd still be using them.

What seems to be the issue with Lumenocks?

I loved my lumenock, but have been to cheap to by one for my new maximas. They always lit up, and when one broke a new one was sent to me free of charge.

What seems to be the issue with Lumenocks?

In order for a lumenock to activate, you must back the nock out just a hair.. back it out of your arrow that is. Over time, the back end of your arrow, as well as the nodes that protrude to be pushed forward and down to complete that circut wear down. Some are stiffer than others.

My experience with lumenocks are that they are roughly 75% go and 25% no-go. A whole lot of it depends on the kind of arrow you shoot, and how much arse your bow has.

I've been shooting tracers all summer.... and have yet to have one not light up. You do have to check them right out of the package, because you will have some that are duds... but if they light up once... they will light up til the batt quits... I have one that I have well over 500 shots on.... still going... not as bright as it once was... but still working like a champ.

Gotcha, well I did see on their website, they have a tech section, and some tips on putting a shim in the arrow to make for a real snug fit, and less movement. Perhaps that would resolve this issue...??

I just ordered some, so I will try them out when they get here, but for me, I will set them up, and shoot some to make sure that they work, and then those 3 will be my hunting arrows, not my practice ones, so they don't need to be shot 500x's, I will use other arrows for that. I really only want them for when I shoot at an animal, to find my arrow, and to view the impact point.

Firenock, hands down. No magnets, no wires, fie;d changeable nocks in various colors, field changeable batteries and brightest I have ever used.

Ihave used them lumenock for 2 yrs and until now have never had a problem with them until this past week. Last week I shot a little high and misssed the deer, He only ran about 20 feet and I was able to get another shot at him. This time I hit him with a complete pass thro and I harvested a nice 5x5. Both arrows lite up off the bow but both went out when they hit the ground. I couldn't believe that it happened to both arrows but it did. Luckily I was able to find both arrowsbut I don't think I'll use lumenock any more
