four or three fletches?
 
Anyone know If there are any disadvantages to shooting with 4 flechtes on your arrow instead or 3? What the difference between the two?

i personally havent seen arrows done with 4 fletchings in a long while....

my buddy shoots a trad bow and says he may goto 4 5" feathers.....i dont know why..id guess it would stabilize quicker and better...


i THINK davidmil on this forum shoots 4 quick spin vanes....maybe he will respond....pretty sure someone here shoots 4 quick spins....and id bet theres guys that know more about it than i do....im interested in reading more knowledgeable posts...

I do not know much about them, but I have heard that they are mostly used on traditional wood and flint arrows.
