It's time he took a dirt nap. 3.5 for sure.

How about a freezer nap?

I'd say he's 3.5 or 4.5
I brightened up the pic a bit...

Here you go!

Thanks a lot for doing that for me bravoo77! Now, here's the big question. This buck was recorded at 7:09AM. What I'd love to know is are these the same buck? This second pic (the one I almostshot)was taken 34 mins after the first pic. The second one looks like it's a smaller body buck. What do you guys think? Either way, I know he's around. I'll kill him if I get another chance!;)

That is definately a mature buck. The way the belly sags a bit, the neck line runs even right into the back vs. a dip first. Big body in general. A shooter for sure.

I'd like a frontal view.
Looks like 2.5... possibly 3.5.
I think he would have some ground shrink.
Better look him over first.

the first buck is definitely a shooter... its hard to tell if the second buck is the same as the first one tho...

alright well I had a question on another thead but im going to pose it in this one so i might get an answer...

I have found a rub at my hunting spot, across from a small springpool that creates a stream. This rub is on a tree that is 4 to 5 inches in diameter, and there is a few smaller rubs around it on broomstick sized trees. Now, my questions is, if a buck is shredding the bark on a 4 to 5 inch diameter tree. Is it possible that there is a big mature trophy buck some where in the area of my hunting spot?
