RE: # of blades
I've killed with flint heads with cedar arrows...and the deer ran 30 yards...dead...so # of blades means nothing to me...make a hole in the lungs....animal bleeds to death and dies...when will we all realize this??....

RE: # of blades
Yea Crimson Talon already made a 6 blade like mauser06 said. They were not impressive (to me).
I use 2 blade heads and they make they best blood trails I have seen so far. |
RE: # of blades
Crimson tallons are not real 6 blades. The have three blades and three tincy little "bleeders" that stick out about 1/8th of an inch. Not exactly a blade IMO. Besides that, their blades are dull enough thatI wouldn't call any of the "blades" blades.
Innerloc is the only company that i know of that makes real 2, 3, 4, and 5 bladed broadheads. IMOa broadhead havingmore than4 blades is pointless. 4 blades maximizes a broadheadscutting ability yet keeps the exposed surface area of the blades as small enough for better flight characteristics. I am talking fixed bladed heads here. But like Michigan said. Cut a hole in both lungs and you have a dead deer. The number of blades really isn't going to make a hill of beans difference to the dead deer. |
