I have a Gold Tip XT arrow that has been through 13 diffrent animals including 1Elk,4Deer,6Hogs,1coyote,1Texas dall Ram so heck yes ill use the same arrow twice, and its still my number one arrow. P.S. 3hogs on the same broadhead got a pass through on all 3 in the same morning.

My Dad has the record in my family.
He shot four bucks with the same arrow. It finally got broken on the last one. |

Carbon shafts are so durable that it's no problem to continue to use them over and over. Of course, I agree with what others have said, you should always check the shaft to ensure it's still flying true, and I would always use a different broadhead.
I shoot Carbon Express shafts, and have shot through several deer with one arrow, which is still in my quiver. This is one of the main reasons that I made the switch to carbon; aluminum shafts would nearly always bend on pass-throughs. |
RE: Would you use an arrow more than once on a different animal?
I'll reuse an arrow. Not likely to reuse a broadhead.

RE: Would you use an arrow more than once on a different animal?
Heck yeah. The arrow I shot my doe with this year is back in my quiver right now. Hopefully it's going to arrow another deer.

Reuse everything I can. After a thorough check of the arrow and resharpening the broadhead I figure it's got some luck to it and want to keep it going.
