Carbon Arrows
I've been looking at some new arrows and i think i have decided on the Carbon Express Maxima Hunter. I was wondering if i should get the 250 or the 350 grain arrows. I have a 28 in draw and shoot about 62 or 63 lb... Which would be the best choice and most accurate.

RE: Carbon Arrows
I have a 29in draw and shoot 66#'s. I use the 350's with 100 grain heads and they shoot great for me. Yours is a little lighter draw and an inch shorter though so the 250's may work for you...

I am pulling around 65# with a 29" draw,100 graintips,and shoot 400, is that to heavy?

RE: Carbon Arrows
Why would shooting a stiffer arrow be a problem? I understand if its not stiff enough. I am no expert shooter but feel I shoot fairly well. I don't keep a 3"group or even a 4" but close to it, if I can hold still lol. I can probably keep a 6" grouping constantly.

RE: Carbon Arrows
I don't really shoot any further than 40 to 45 yards. I can keep a 3 to 4" group on the first 5 or so arrows then I think its more me than the arrows or bow. My shoulder is not the greatest and I have a hard time holding still after shooting to many. My first couple are usually within 2" inches of each other and are where I'm aiming. The first one is the most important one to me as you "usually" don't get a second chance at a live animal. Would it be beneficial to go with a 125 grain instead of 100 grain tip??

RE: Carbon Arrows
if your shoulderbothers you after shooting more than a few shots,
and your first few shots are going where they are supposed to , i wouldnt change anything!! if it aint broke dont fix it LOL |
