Question about UV Light.

Today I found a realy good deal on No Trace NTX pants, jacket, gloves and head cover in Realtree Hardwoods HD. They have what they call "Oder Magnet Technology". I guess it is supposed to be like ScentLok.
Anyway, I like to check my camo under a blacklight before I wear it to see If I need to hit it with UV Killer. This stuff doesn't light up blue. It is a really dark reddish purple color under the light. Is that the color it should be if there are no UV brighteners? Should I go ahead and spray it with UV Killer anyway?

RE: Question about UV Light.

I'm a rookie, but in my opinion I wouldn’t worry about it.

RE: Question about UV Light.

I wouldn't waste my time and $$ doing it. I have read a lot on the subject and what I have determined is that there isn't a product on the market that works as advertised to eliminate UV brighteners from our clothes, especially new synthetics! If the glow concerns you, don't buy the pants. Not buying clothes with UV brighteners in them is the only way I have found to eliminate all glow.
