New X-Force is IMPRESSIVE !!!!!
I shot the new GX X-Force today (unfortunately I didn't get to try the Dream Season). All I have to say is, I was going to get one of the new Bowtechs once I saw the release of the new pictures. Well, not anymore. They fixed everything I didn't like about last years X-Force. The draw length is more accurate, it has a valley now, and it has a nice 80% letoff. I can now comfortably sit and hold the bow without it wanting to rip my shoulder out of socket. The bow had no vibration and was pretty quiet as well. Pretty IMPRESSIVE for a speed bow. The only negative I would say about it is that it has kind of an abrupt drop into the valley. But I'd take it anyday just to have that valley now compared to last years model. Plus, I think your muscles will train themselves to the new draw. All I can say is if you are thinking of getting a new bow, try one of the new X-Forces before buying one of the others. I'm saving up right now for a Dream Season.

I shot the new X-Force SS bow today (only one the shop had) and I was very impressed with the feel of the bow. I can't say it was an apples to apples comparison (because it was the SS and not the Dream Season which I want to try), but the shop owners told me the feel is pretty much the same on all of them because they all have the same cams. Anyway, my complaints on the old X-Force was the lack of valley and the letoff (in defense of the bow, I only had it for about a week and the draw length was probably too long). The new X-Forces now have a valley, better letoff, and what appears to be a more accurate draw length. The bow feels so much more comfortable to hold. ![]() |

They did make a serious "feel" change. The new XForce GX is definately DEAD in the hand. Hard to believe for some, I know, but with the addition of the string suppressor, it's nice. ;)
Go shoot one. ;) |

Maybe I ought to get me some of that X-Force SS/GTO/5.0/454/AMG bow for my own self.
Has PSE ever made the exact same cam system for more than one year? Or have they just changed the names a lot to confuse the snot out of everyone and make parts impossible to come by? |
