That time or is someone messin with me?

Yesterday me and my friend scouted a piece of property and found 13 rubs in a 20 yard X 50 yard chunk of woods. We also found 3 scrapes right around them too...[&:]

It was in West Michigan too....

I don't think anyone is messing with you at all! My dad said he saw a fresh scrape two mornings ago here in central Missouri. I've already seen a rub or two as well. Not uncommon for mid-October!!

On opening (Sept. 27th) day I took a bunch of pictures of an area about the size you described full of rubs. Noones messing with you.

If you look close you can see 4 in this picture alone.

I hope you hunt there with that much sign! No one is messing with you...I found a rub last night on a cedar tree about 5 inches in diameter and broke off(I mean ripped off)a limb the size of a baseball bat handle.

Today my son and I went for a little walk through the woods putting up our last two stands. We found a rub line about 100 yards long. A rub about every 25 feet or so. the good part is about 60 yards into this rub line my son's primary stand is setup about 10 yards from the next rub.

We set this stands up over two months ago. I was on an extended business trip so we missed the first month of bow season in Maryland. Glad to know we can still seem to pick the spots.))))

Going out this evening for our first hunt of the year.

Dave
