Call me a baby, but I like it just cold enough to be frosty in the morning. Warm up around 10 degrees for the day. I like hunting overcast with a slight breeze. I think a little wind lets you make at least a little error in the stand. Whether it be a creak in your stand ora river running out your nose and needing a slight blowing.[:'(]

Hmmm well it doesnt get that cold here during the rut, so realistically, a nice cold foggy morning in early November......a cold dreary looking day, 35degrees, getting ready to spit rain or sleet that afternoon or night....puts them in over drive to feed in Dec

Highs in the 40's with lows in the low 30's high pressure system with a North wind of 5-10 mph. Snow on the ground would be awesome but highly unlikely in my area.

Cold, frosty and overcast with low winds. A dusting of snow is a bonus. If the temps are dropping from morning thorughout the day even better. Mercury falling seems to get them up on their feet and moving.
