RE: Looking for a hunting partner

After hunting Rios in Kansas last year I am hooked.. I love KS.. I know the feeling though, I'm can't take anyone on the private ground I hunt therefore I hunt alone and it's nice to have someone to give a load of crap too.. Good Luck.. If I could make it out that way more I'd come hunt with you..

Surely there is someone out that way that is dying to find a place to hunt.

I am new relatively new to bowhunting and have access to quite a bit of private land in north central kansas to hunt on. I am basically just looking for someone to hunt with maybe even share some of their wisdom. I am not asking anything in return for hunting.

What part of kansas? Anywheres close to Topica?
I have a aunt and uncle who live there, my mothers sister. I was just asking my mother 2 days ago if they had any land up there to hunt on. I would love to do a kansas hunt one day.
I live in Texas, and if they do have land available for me. I will go up one year.

True, but this year they took away those speciallandowner licenses so they ended up with alot of leftover tags. Which unit do you hunt in, there maybe some left if someone's interested.

I'm suprised with photos like those that you have to come on here to find a huntin' buddy, I'd think someone around the local bow shop would jump at the chance to hunt where you do. Don't get me wrong, it's awfully nice of you, I'm just sayin...

I hunt in unit 7. I am not originally from kansas, and have only lived in kansas for about 4 years and only started hunting last year, with my work schedule i don't get out much around town, so I really don't know anyone from around here. I hunted with one other guy last year but he just purchased a business (my new boss) and really doesn't have time for hunting anymore.

You may want to post this offer up in the Regional Boards as well.

It's not as popular of a forum as this, but a little extra advertising couldn't hurt. Good luck finding a hunting partner and with your season as well!
