Patty, your whitetail head will work just fine in most cases, which do you presently use?

Good luck, Patty!!

If you put it where it needs to be, it won't matter what's tipping the end of your arrow! :)

Keep it simple.. A goos sharp Fixed blade broadhead should work just fine.

I have several different broadheads. They are all 100 gr. Muzzy, Grim Reaper,Montec, etc. I wasn't sure if I needed to up the gr.?
Thanks :)

You'll be fine... just put it in the boiler room.

I helped field-dress a huge cow that was taken on opening morning with a 100-grain Rage... busted through two ribs on the way in and lodged in the off-side shoulder. She was down for the count in mere seconds.

Thanks a bunch. I didn't want to get in the woods & get a shot & it not be enough impact to take the elk down on the first shot. I hate to make an animal suffer by wounding it.
