I have 2 stands where I can see a house not 150 yards away. I have one stand in an old apple orchard, where I am about 25 yards behind the garage.

Watched a guy on a lawnmower tow another guy on a lawnmower around his yard while mowing on opening day from my treestand....and shot a very respectable 8pter for this area...this year.

Watched 2 2.5y/o bucks get up from within 30yds of the same back yard my last sit.

Shot at and missed a good deer while the guy in that backyard was looking at me trying tofigure what I was doing...while I turned the can over and grunted. (same stand)

different stand....shot my first bow deer within 100yds of land owners house.

first time on the property mentioned first time I hear from one of the neighboring subdivisions (while walking to my stand) a dog barking and then I guess it was 'mom' going "What's that dog barking at?!" 'child' "It was a deer in the back yard!"....said hmmm this might be a good day lol
