RATTLING FACT OR MYTH

I keep hearing, the bigger the horns you rattle either intimidates or even scares smaller bucks?
I have seen good bucks come to rattling with smaller set of horns over here in Ohio, But never used a BIG set of horns before. Is this true or a myth? THANKS

RE: RATTLING FACT OR MYTH

I think It's got some truth to It. You take a set of 160" antlers and crack them together very aggressively Its going to sound Intimidating. I myself prefer 110" to 115" antlers when rattling- They work good for all age's of bucks. My buck I got last year I rattled In with small sheds. The sheds were 70" If there lucky and my buck scored 140 1/8. It can be done.
