Anthony, I don't think I've seen one thread about an Ally blowing up.
I'm gonna try my hardest to get this bow guys, unless I get some more negative responses.
Hopefully in the next month you guys will see a "new bow" threadin the next month;)
Rory I've been working on ally's as long as they have been around.... I've seen plenty of busted bowtech limbs.... but seriously, I've only ever seen TWO ally's with limb issues.... and one of those was a dry fire.

I've shot dozens, sold dozens of them, and worked on dozens more... and honestly, I think it is as good in my opinion as any bow made in the last five years, certainly top three.

If its a good buy..... you'd be a fool to pass it up..... they really are one of the ultimate hunting bows.

I've got an 07', essentially the same except no Invelvet and different colored cams. I love the bow. With smooth mods, it's smoother than just about anything (including single cams) on the market now, but still faster. I did a good review on mine over on www.bowhunting.com in the reviews section if you want to check it out in more detail.

Rory, with all of the issues people have been having with their Bowtech/Diamonds- I'd seriously think hard about purchasing that bow.

Take it from me- I've been through 3 Generals and ona second top limb on my Nitrous. Not the best quality.

I'll admit, when they do work- they are fine shooting bows......
Funny things I remember.;) Some quotes from the past year from good ol DT.

I LOVED the Alli, brace hieght, shootability, wieght. It was the kind of bow that I love to shoot, however, thisGeneralblew my mind !!

Cant wait to harvest a nice mature doe with it. Got some "herd trimmin" to do !!:D

It really becomes part of your hand quite quickly. Just watch what you "add" to it, in my opinion it becomes heavy quickly. Other than that, it really is an INCREDIBLE bow.

Oh, I DO NOT WORK FOR, nor am I being compenstated by BowTech !!!!!! I was just really amazed by this bow.

I was looking foward to the 82-101 BowTechs, however, I didnt want the 36'' A-A lenght. Other than that, my dealer had ALL good things to say about them. I was a little skeptical about the 8'' Brace Hieght of the Generalas well. Ill tell you:

IMPRESSED !!!!

General= Well, before I shot the General, I had made my mind up on the Allegience. But, Ill sacrifice speed for that smooth, quiet bow anyday of the year. Im a pretty seasoned archer and this bow has GOT IT GOING ON, also, its NOT slow. Best bow that Ive shot, blows away the others mentioned in this post. You can get this bow over 300fps with a few tweeks !!

Go shoot one !!!

All I am saying is that, whenever you buy a bow(DT) its the best thing since sliced bread, then in a few months it's junk. This guy asked about a legend, one that I was hoping was gonna get one more year, now I am gonna have to get an 08 if I want one. I have shot them, I have been around them. So may people can't be wrong, get the Ally, you won't be dissapointed. On a side note, any problem that Bowtech has had, they have stood behind and addressed 10 fold. That's what makes a great company.

I have an 06 allegiance and bought it used. Had the top limb crack on maybe the 15th shot after I got it. I don't know if it was damaged while being shipped or what but I put a new set of limbs on it and no problems since. My point is that it can happen at any time to any bow.

I love it though and won't be buying another bow for along time even after having a limb failure. You won't be disappointed like others have said.

Probably the best one Bowtech has ever made, especially in a hunting setup. BUY IT! 2008 was the last year for them, so they will be in high demand on the used markey I suspect. The 2008's were sweet too, super lightweight.

You don't want to know how many BowTechs I've owned in the last few years... I was counting in my head this morning how many I'll have hanging in my home shop after all my new '09s arrive... I came up with nine if I count my son's new Diamond Edge! :D

I say that not to make you gag (or puke)... but to say this: Out of ALL the BowTechs I own (and have owned), there's a reason I placed an order for a very special2008 Allegiance that would never, ever -- under any circumstances -- be sold. Ever. It's mine, and always will be.

Yes; it's THAT good of a bow. ;)
