Mostly i like him. I have seen things he did i would not do and he says things i might not say the same why but all in all he is a good guy and one of the biggest supporters of hunters

do a search!!! Some like him some don't. For the most part I do. He is a typical rich guy though... My cousin took him fly fishing in Oregon and uncle ted wanted him to do every thing for him.. He said it was a waste of his time.

Well, let's see....ummm....... I just don't like him. I don't like his music andI don't like his obnoxious, hammy TV show personality. That doesn't mean there's anything WRONG with him. He's quick witted, intelligent, articulate and obviously successful. I do agree with and like many of his opinions,thoughts and ideas. I just don't like HIM. He's definitely PRO GUN and PRO HUNTING, so he gets points for that, but some of his antics actually do moreharm than good tothepublic image of hunters/hunting.

I liked some of his songs when he was with The Amboy Dukes. But like most of us as he ages his mind wonders and he becomes senile.While some of his rantshave good intentions behind them his delivery sometimes sucks. He is a advocate for killin and grillin though.

These are the reasons I DO like him. Ya he can get annoying on TV, but ya know what - he doesn't care who he pisses off to get his message across. That is why I do like him. He's very intelligent, very charitable, and isn't afraid to speak his mind to anybody or appear on anyone's show - that's classy (in a weird way) and that shows his true character as well.

I like him. I have never seen anyone get as excited over the kill as him whether its the 1st or hundredth.

I agree with alot you said in this post. He does stand up for what he believes in. He is entertaining, and when he gets goin on a rant, look out. Overall I don't think he is a bad guy.

I think he ripped off the beat for "Stranglehold" from Deep Purple's song "Smoke on the water". Listen to the opening beats of both songs, sounds pretty much the same huh?

They may have been one of his influences, but a "homage" is usually just another word for "copy". [8D]

Smoke on the Water and Stranglehold sound nothing alike, at all. Stranglehold isn't even a good song, its over-rated and played out. Neither is Smoke on the Water. His best are songs like Great White Buffalo, Cat Scratch Fever, Fred Bear, and Raw Dogs and War Hogs. But that'smy opinion. I like Uncle Ted, I would vote for him if he were running this election, just because the other candidates suck and have no idea how to run a COUNTRY. Neither would Ted, but I'd rather see him in the oval office in a camo cowboy hat andslingin' guns everywhere, than Obama'ssocialist ass or McCain on his deathbed. I likeTed's no-nonsense thoughts on illegal "immigration".....(send their asses back and shoot any others that cross the border), I like his idea of100% execution ofmurderers and rapists so they have no chance of being a repeat offender, and I love his passion for slaying animals. I know he hunts pen deer, and I don't agree with that one bit, but he's rich andhe can do what he wants. I love how he speaks his mind and stresses his rights as an AMERICAN. We need more TED!

I think this is probably the 20th Ted Nugent opinion thread. It seems like one pops up about every month or so. Maybe Ted himself is post under assumed member names so we all keep talking about him. :D

He is a little hi-strung! Funny thing is the man eats the same way he converses...rapid fire and intensly.I was in a camp with him one time,we rode down to skinning shed together in my truck and talked...radio playing and I aplologized...told him I didn't even own one of his CD's.:)Told him good thing we aren't out on open road...both of us with long hair with profiling we would be pulled over!:DDecent enough guy...I don't get all wound up over celebrity status.

yea i have my pro's and cons, but the guy can be funny, the other day i was watching his show and he was promoting cmeer deer and some ducks flew over and he said something along the line of look it even brings in ducks, like cmeer ducks... he can be funny...

Im 21 right now, and when I was 2 years old, my dad popped in the Fred Bear cassette tape, and I fell in love with that song. By age 2.5 I could sing the whole song. I was always like "Im gonna be the next Ted Nugent". All my school shoes were always black and white, based off of the Damn Yankees stuff for some reason. Ted was/is against drinking, so I went all through high school without drinking 1 beer (how many can say theyve done that?). To this day, I've never touched a drug. Because Ted plays the guitar, I wanted to play. I've been playing guitar for 15 years now, with most of my style inspired by Ted. A big reason I hunt is because of watching and listening to Ted Nugent. Call me crazy if you want, but Ted has been the biggest influence to me since I was a little boy, and I guarantee you'll never find a bigger fan than me. Yeah he might be crazy at times, but hes supporting us hunters like none other.

And yes...hes MUCH better than Jackie Bushman haha.

I love nuge,I dissagree with the fact that he takes 80 yard shots with no sights.In fact I dissagree with the fact that he doesn`t use sights.But having said that,he does alot for hunting and firearm rights,he`s a sharp guy and people listen to him.
