I used one when I first started shooting when I was really really young. It ripped my lips apart after awhile. I think they are good for new shooters to promote anchering at the same point everytime. Dont use one anymore....I like my face the way it is

I dropped my kisser after the second year. I was more just tinkering and knew that i would gain a little speed without it so I tried it out. And after just a little bit... I loved it. I noticed a little transition point that I wasn't shooting very well still don't know if it was the kisser but that transition is long gone and I love not having a kisser to get caught in the face mask or slow down the bow.

Used one on my first bow and never really thought anything about it. It was all I knew at the time. When I got my other bow, the guy setting it up for me suggested that I try to go without it. He said he used his cock vane as his anchor point. I was hesitant at first, but after awhile it grew on me. I wouldn't think of doing it any other way now.

kiss.. I think a kisser generally takes more like 4 fps off your setup... unless your kisser button is the size of a sugar cookie..

I have always used both a peep and kisser....just like knowing all is right. I have been considering lately about doing away with the kisser, but that's a project for next year.

I use a kisser button for sure. I have used one for so long it just feels funny one not being there. Besides it lets me know that i am anchored in the same place everytime.

I use a kisser button but I do not use a peep sight.

So I guess the speed issue is a wash.

Cuz I don't use the peep (Try it you will like it), I like having the 3 point anchor.

1 String on nose

2 Kisser

3 Knuckle behind my ear

This creates such a solid anchor, that the peep becomes expendable.

Your head can't be tilted or crooked in any way with this setup.

Asmany others have indicated, I also used a kisser for a number of years. But I decided to abandon it, mainly because I couldn't feel it properly with a heavy mask on in cold weather. However,I found what davidmil said interesting, regarding a nose button. Never tried one of those. Regardless, I'm happy with my anchor points and this old dog probably isn't goingto learn many new tricks.
