A couple of questions: Do you use the autofocus feature or manual? What video editing software do you use?

Original PA Hardwoods:
Ben who is that UGLY SOB your filming?[:'(] You would think you could find a better subject. LOL

Hey with you filming maybe we can see him take a "Rob Buck" On film. LOL

I tried to get him to keep his leafy mask on.[8D] I would love to be able to film Rob taking more than a "Rob Buck," he certainly deserves it.

Original Bowman4440:
You can barely see those deer once they get into that tall stuff in the field!
Ya when they got out into the higher stuff it was really tough. Rob pointed out and I agreed that it really makes you depend on good binos.

Good job Ben. Nice framing and steady pans. Good luck hunting the walnut tree tonight
Thanks, I have to hand it to Rob for the editing, I did have a few wobbles in there for sure. Also, thanks for the luck. This is a sit that I have been waiting for. Rob actually helped me hang these stands, so it's fitting that he gets in on the (hopefully) action tonight.

Auto and ..... the master will have to take the second question.;) I's just a big dumb animal in a tree with a camera. I know how to turn it on and how to zoom. Maybe next week I will get the 200 level class.;)

Finally watched the footage this morning. Looks great, Ben. Looking forward to tonight's sit from you guys. I have a feeling you guys are going to get a shot down on video this year.

Hey Rob ... is that the tree your gonna put me in? ;)

I really like that camo ....... I can feel the bank account getting lighter ...:D
That could happen!

And Andy's (Diesel77's) Ultimate Camo is sweet. When your with someone that has it on, it's amazing.

Nice camo
Damn nice!

I really need to pay attention at that end. A deer can appear out of no where in that field.

The owner likes to mow it, he hunts on the ground with a rifle, I tell him to leave it alone during archery season. The deer love the cover.

For Ben I left it on auto focus plus any shot we were to have would have been in the field. I use both depending on foliage.

The editing software is just a cheap "Movie Maker" software that came on my new laptop with Vista. If I get all the right footage I'm going to upgrade to all the bells and whistles but right now, this little program does a great job.

Thanks Matt and good luck to you as well. Sounds like your in the animals. Tonight it's Ben in front of the camera and I've taken game on film before, if we were to only get one, I'm hoping to get Ben taking whatever. He better hurry though, as the rut nears, I'll be on a mission. ;)
