Well I have an 08 General, but I've been hunting with my 03 Bowtech Extremelately. I plan to use the general in Illinois in 3 weeks. I also still shoot my Bear Whitetail II (1986) at a whopping 186 fpsand I still have a 1976 Indian Recurve 45lb/28" (though I don't shoot it anymore).

My browning is 6 years oldnow. Can't see spening the money on a new one as long as this one still shoots the way it does. Not that I wouldn't mind getting a new one, if I had the extra cash...

My Hoyt Havoctec is an 03 and its still rock solid and I'm confident with it...Nothing special..268 FPS 27.5 inch draw at 68 pounds....plenty fast.

I just bought my first bow - a PSE Carroll Intruder II. Not sure if its from 95 or 96 - but its new to me! I figure if it could take down a deer a decade ago, it should still be able to today

First off, Schultzy stirred up another forum...shocker. Mr. Knowitall over here turned nothing into something once again. Thanks Schultzy.

Bob, in response, he made it sound like he was defending him& I was downing him (my dad) which is totally not the case. When I say defending him, I mean when people ask why he doesn't update him bow, I say exactly what is being said...he is comfortable with it and it works. Why change what works?

Maybe I should usebetter english to understand. I nicely explain why he shoots what he does.

Can't wait to someone else blows this post out of context.
I would keep in mind though that these types forumshave beenproven to be one of the worse ways of comunicating. There really is a lot that gets left out of a conversation. I bet if you and Schultzy were sitting at a campfire talking the conversation would have an entirely different tone and understanding.
I'm thinking a big ole can of Whoopass. []
Totally out of context. Definitely blow out of wack...my bad.
