Drag Rag question

Hey guys, I was just curious what is your methods for using a drag rag. Also, what materials do you use for a drag rag. I've used a cut up shirt and old shoe lace before but was looking for what your guy's personal methods are. I purchased some Harmon's Buck lure and Triple Heat this year and plan on using the buck lure later this month.

RE: Drag Rag question

I personally have never had luck with any type of scent. One particular year i had a heck of a honey hole that i knew big bucks were using. hung a sent patch nothing, tried a second time nothin. that entire season i saw nothing but a few doe who paid no attention to the lure.did that spot just happen to die? did the scent spook them? ill never know, but the following year i missed a monster 8pt out of the same stand but this time with no scent. I have killed a few really nice bucks, not using lures or decoys, i believe in hunting funnels, bottlenecks, ridges and food sources, the deer are going to go to these spots regardless so your chances are good.
