Low light shooting solutions?

Has anyone found a good sight, or product that works well in low light situations?

I do have a peep, but it seems big enough that I can pick out my pins, but as darkness comes, I lose my pins before legal shooting.

I see that Tru glow has a small light, for lighting the pins. Has anyone tried this?

Do any sight manufacturer sell lighted pins?

Check out Sword's Accu-site, it has a little light that light them pins up bright enough that you could shoot at midnight

I can see my pins well after I can't see the ground anymore. Not an issue for me. Trophy Ridge site with a large peep

Thanks Droptine, I'll check that out.

I've also heard of the peep eliminator, which is similar to a rifle sight, it takes out the need for a peep sight, and suppose to add to time to your shooting in low light conditions. www.peepeliminator.com/

I guess something like this, with lighted pins, or something that glows after shooting light is what I'm going to need to move to.

My HHA single pin is plenty bright in low light situations. It illuminates even when it's too dark for me to see the deer's out line.

What you wantis to be able to pull and settle on target without the use of a site. Change the way you anchor to achieve it. You should be able to pull with your eyes closed, open them and be looking right through your peep with the pin almost if not on target.

ALso just check local regs in your area. I know here in Minnesota it is illegal to use a battery operated light on your sites. Like the little blue led ones the manufatures made. Just make sure you don't want to find out too late.

I hunt from a blind and the pins get hard to see way too early.
What I use: TruGlow Tru-site Xtreme Micro Adjust with light and G5 Meta Peep 3/16'' are a perfect match; the pins are very bright anyway, even without the light.
