If you supposably are passing on the big one in the picture than the one you are after must be unreal. I am sure the neighbors are happy with you. I too think the picture looks a little fishy. A bit too green for early October. I was up in Hayward last weekend and still lots of leaves.

Well I dont know what to tell ya....I dont have to lie about the deer I see. If you dont believe that they are from this year, thats fine, nobody is asking you to.
In response to the "rutting" buck stuff, my dad shot a 9 pointer last yr, opening day of bow season (now thats in Sep) and that things neck was bigger then its head! Not all deer look the same way. Also, I did a little bit of research and found that depending on the weather, the sun and just mother nature herself, leaves will fall off. Some more ten others depending on the sunlight they get all yr. Check it out also, like I said, EVERY YEAR THE LEAVES IN THAT AREA FALL LIKE THAT...I DONT KNOW WHY...BUT THEY DO!
Come to my parents house in Central WI, near WI DELLS, and rake their yard and then tell me that the leaves are not falling! Hell for that matter, come rake mine too!
And the reasons I passed on those bucks was the first one I wasnt hunting, my buddy was and I was taking pics and workin the camera......he ended up takin the buck in the second pic on wed. That buck neverpresented a good enough shot when I seen him,and that pic was taken whenhe was walkin away. He turned completely around and looked right at me, I think he heard or seen me move for the camera
The buck I am after I have been watching him grow and let him pass now for 2 years, he is a heck of a shooter! I posted pics of him too, I only got one good shot of him though.
So like I said, I dont have to lie about deer I see and Im not BSing anyone......

WHAT WE GOT HERE IS...A GREAT CASE OF PURE JEALOUSY!! AND THAT WILL GET YOU NOWHERE IN LIFE!
So before you guys go around "accusing" people of things, make sure you clean out your own backyards first and dont talk about someone elses

If it's fine that we don't believe you, that why did you just rant on us?

Also what would we have to be jealous of? Honestly.

Well seems to me you would have alot ot be jealous of, I dont see you posting pics of bucks that look like that, whats your excuse?
Plus, Im not ranting bout nothing, I mean think about it. I posted the pics and got all the "non-believing" people's responses and tried to clarify things, not rant. So all in all, the deer are real, I took the pics and yes they were from this year.
The rest is up to ya'll.

Those are some slammer bucks, I don't really care when the pics were taken or by who, they're big. Can you post a pic on this thread of the buck you're after?

Honestly I'm too lazy to search through 20-30 pages for it in your team thread.

Thanks

I love the URL address on the photos, "bensmokinit", that could explain everything

I don't need an excuse. I've seen bigger deer than both of them in the woods, so therefor I'm not jealous either. You keep telling yourself everyone's jealous of you're bucks though.
Good luck this year.
