Who Uses a stabilizer when they hunt?

RE: Who Uses a stabilizer when they hunt?
I can't think of any cons to using one, but I'll bet that if you practiced all year with a stabilizer on your bow, you don't want to go hunting without one on there.

I hunt with one, you want the same feel when you hunt as when you practice. I used the s-coil as well and was very happy with it. Until I purchased the octane 7" and I believe it made quite a difference. More so than I thought it would.

11.5" octane. the same one i use when i shoot hunter class 3d. people ask why hav eone so long, doesnt it catch on everything. and then i respond, what sticks out further than the arrow? its what i shoot with, and am comfortable with. most bows today dont really need to be any quieter, especially a general. it does improve stability at length, its just physics. the longer, the more stability.
