My last two bows have been pretty short A2A so I definately favored the Admiral in that department. The draw cycle seemed about the same and the wall seemed the same. The difference that I could tell was that the Admiral seemed to be more dead in the hands, both at full draw and on the shot. The Admiral also seemed to be more quiet. These are just my opinions and it could be the fact that I had already made my mind up that I wanted the Admiral that I thought these things. I have always heard that a longer A2A bow was more steady, but I just didn't see it in this case.

It actually came down to the Elite Z28 or the Admiral. I shot a Bowtech Tribute then went to an Elite GTO. I know both companies make great bows. The Z was a touch faster, but the overall feel of the Admiral along with its looks are what swayed my decision.
thanks for the info bud, I'm looking to get a new bow right after christmas and i'm thinking it'll probably be a bowtech admiral or captin, so any info is greatly appreciated:D

Depending on if bowtech is being gay or not, I'm going to order an admiral tomorrow... hopefully my boss has just squirreled away the 09 bowtech stuff... because its not where it would normally be.

I was thinkin' optifade.... but now i'm kinda leanin' toward Max-4..... anyone know if octane ever actually got around to making the products they say they have on their website?

Oh man I love the new BowTech's. They are so bad. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it? I think it time for a new bow for me.

Nice. I'm jealous that people are already getting their hands on these bows and I have to wait till the first of the year to decide which one I want.
Me too....:eek: I just have to wait until I can get the cash for new bow. Ever since I shot the Bowtechs, I have wanted a new bow. Now I've got the "itch".......;):)

yes swampcollie, they got the stabs adn quivers out in max4 if thats what u were asking.
