Default Climbing stand question

How stable are the newer stands with cables??? I had an older summuit Sabre with the "angle iron" v bar rather than cables---it was secure and stable. Just wonderind how secure the cables were,I kind of worry abouthem sliipingor letting the stand turn sideways

I own the summit open shot and the LoneWolf hand climber and once you get to the top and set up they feel more secure than some of my hang ons. Not to mention they are much lighter and quieter than the "angle iron" types.
