Anyone have one of these sights? If you do, could you tell me if the pins can be removed from a 5 pin to make it a 3pin? I like the design of the sight, but I only want 3 pins

You can remove the pins by loosening off the two set screws for the pin you want to remove. With the screws loose point the sight with the pin pointing down and tap on the sight.

If you get the Wrap model I don't see anyway to get the pins out without cutting the fiber on the pins you want to remove..........looks like it would be a tricky manuever to get the pin and fiber out intact.

We tried my buddy dave's .010 wrap regular Hogg-it and finally punted and snipped the fibers as he also only wanted 3 pins.

You will most likely want to remove the 2nd and 4th pins as they will give you neater spacing and easier gaps to the 1,3,5 pins.

One thing to keep in mind though is that not all the pin turrets are the same 1,3,5 are long turrets, 2 and 4 are short....in other words they are not all interchangeable in each slot by design.

In any event........the sight itself is top shelf. :)

I just switched to one this year, and it's been the best site hands down I've ever used . You can't go wrong with this site. And yes you can take a few of the pins out. I would also get the hogg hunter with the wrap too. Mine gathers SO much light it is unreal. Even right at dark, my pins are still lite.
