What is your favorite climbing stand for bow?
I need another climber so thought i would get one that is bow friendly. I currently have a tree lounger and a warren sweat, as well as two lock ons, but need something that is bowhunter friendly, reasonably priced and portable.
I used a friends summit this weekend and wasn't thrilled with the cable system, though maybe i'd get used to it. Any suggestions? Even if a discontinued model, i may be able to find a used one, so cast your vote. thx
I'm also going to post a question about safety harnesses

I like the Equalizer. The leveling feature as you climb is the nuts. No longer do you have to guess at what will happen when you get to the height you're going. I also own an API and a Buckshot. Have also owned LOggy Bayou climbers.

Equalizer is NOT light. I think it weighs in around 21 pounds. They say 20 but I think it's more like 21 going on 22, and that's without their shooting rest. When you tighten those straps down once you're at your height the baby is rock solid and comfy to sit in. I have the hard type seat and not the sling seat. I like to beable to sit facing the tree or out or put it in the 3rd position of half standing.
