Rubber Boot wearers...hit me

My boots were on their last limb as it was, and after a weekend of hard hunting they are...done son. I want to go with some rubber boots this time.

I'm trying to keep it at a decent price. I don't want to drop a ton of money on boots, I don't walk that far anyways. Also I don't need alot of isulation. It doesn't get that cold here, and if it does, I'll wear thicker socks:D

Soooo, what do you guys recommend?:D

Man, i was in the same boat as you last week.... I just didnt want to spend that much money... I looked around and around and around. I wanted something in the $50 range. Something simple, but I think it is one of those "get what you pay for" deals.

And then I said well I'll atleast try these on. I really like how they look.... Man they are more confortable than my Swiss's!

Lacrosse Alpha Burley Sport. $100 + tax

Thanks Aaron, those look quality.

That is usually how I do things. I say I'm looking for something in a decent price range, I shop around a bit, and decide I won't settle for some POS and end up spending more money than I planned[&:]:D

I'm gonna stop by a BP tomorrow and see what they have to offer.

my alhoa burleys have been around for 3 seasons of hard hunting and they are barely showing it i even wore them on a long linining boat and your boots get beat up. THey are the best boots out there for the money.

Like Archery products, footwear is another one of those thing you usually get what you pay for. Good luck.

I really like the rocky buckstalkers myself, I have had them for a few years now with no problems. I recommend the zipper sides makes it very easy to take on or off. Also I agree look in sportsmans guide for good deals on boots, GOOD LUCK!!

Go to www.gandermountain.com and look under footwear/rubber boots at the Itasca Swampwalkers, they range from 39.00 to 99.00 I've had a pair for two years now and am very satisfied and not broke in the deal. Camo to toe and scent controll, and non-insulated !!!

LaCrosse is the way to go. I paid $79 for mine @ Sportsman's Warehouse. Little insulation, but go up 3/4 ways to my knees so when I do have to cross a creek, I can and not have swamp foot by the end of the hunt.

Go to the local feed and grain store and pick yourself up a nice $20.00 pair of stall mucking rubbers. If the cold is not an issue they do a great job at a great price.
I do however really like my Browning rubbers with 1200 grams of thinsulate but they are bulky and big, but they are warm..

Always search the bargain barn at Cabelas. Sometimes they really do have some good deals..
