Trail camera flash this close to the season?

Im going up this weekend and im putting my camera out near my spot for the first time this year, the season opens on the 18th, and im scared that if i put it out the flash might scare a nice buck away... Do you guys who use camera find the flash effects deer?

well i just bought a trail camera and today will be the third full day with it. after the first night, the camera took 96 pictures of 3 different bucks during the hours of 7pm and 5am with no ill effects. the one buck was there over 6 hours having his picture taken with the flash so i would say the flash does NOT effect them. search and you'll find my post with the pics. hope this helps.

I've had trail cams out the last 2 years. I've seen my share of deer run from these camera's when taking pictures. Flash and no flash camera's will both scare certain deer. My video's prove It!

My no flash cuddeback and most of the other IR camera's have little red tiny lights that flash on and off to gather the light for the pics. There easy to see. Here's a video of what a nice buck does when he see's these red tiny lights going off.

He is a "little" spooked. I notice that he still came back curious off what the heck that was.
