Default Any NYers, seeing rubs/scrapes yet?

Im going up this weekend, for the first time this year, to set up tree stands and scout and all that fun stuff, are you guys seeing any rubs or pre rutting acitivities going on yet?

Nope, none on the trails yet. But they might be doing it deeper in the woods this year.

Not NY, but in Ont/Quebec (not that Far from NY) some scraping and rubbing has started. I have my Trail cam setup on a traditional scrape line/Travel coridor, and some scrapes/rubbing has started, but not a ton, and seems to be more smaller bucks than the big lads yet.

I have been seeing alot of rubs, I have found a small scrape line deeper in the woods.

I took a final check of my stands (12 of them) yesterday with the pruning pole. Two of my stands had fresh scrapes withing 5 yards of them! I counted 4 more edge scrapes around the fields that the deer frequent at night. I also got a video of a "rack" last night early passing one of my trail cams. Man I am getting the itch!

Ive seen several small rubs...no scrapes. I just put up two more stands tonight and I am pumped!!!
