I shot a eight pointer last year at 10 yards while he was feeding on acorns.After the shot, clean pass through, he mule kicked, took two quick steps and then stopped. Hebegan to look at where I hit him as if he got stung by something.After several seconds hestarted to feed again. After about 30 seconds in hetook of atlike mock 10 and piled up 30 yards away. Had no clue he was hit with the RAGE!!! He was mighty tasty and looks great on my wall. Keep those things sharp and ready to go. I normally shoot some for arrow flight then put new ones on for hunts.

I've cut myself on many things unfortunately. Some of the worst cuts I have received came from quick slices...I felt no pain initially, then blood and lots of it.

Oh and my answer is that I've cut myself dozens & dozens of times and not known it until I saw blood... am I the only one that played with knives when I was a kid? :D

Acually, last sunday i shot a doe and it was a complete pass through and she just "bounded" away then stopped and looked back at me about 30 yards away and thats where she fell. she didnt make a sound or didnt even kick when i hit her, I think she heard my bow and that was the only thing that scared her, don't think she even felt a thing.
