Torture defined!
So there I am sitting high on top of a hill overlooking a part of my hunting land from afar. I go there about every night and glass the fields before dark. What do my binocs see but a 11 point bruiser that will go 120 -130 standing broadside about 15 yards in front of my hangon stand [:@][:o]. The same stand that I plan on hunting opening day (if the wind cooperates). My season doesn't open until October 18th. I can't take it anymore!! I'm done scouting. I'm done spotlighting at night too. It's become too aggrevating [8D]:eek:[:-].

I keep hearing the same thing from my buddy up around Ithaca.........he has a bunch of great pics of bucks on his farm but this one is torturing him.

I here ya. I just got this pic today off my camera and it was taken this morning. I have seen this buck all summer now I have to hope he sticks around for the 18th.

Wow, I just hope to see anything when I'm in the stand. see if beginners luck is true and lands me a deer for my 1st deer season. Need some meat for the freezer.

Shucks....I'm lucky if it's 320 acres. I thought I had him pegged....and still might.....but to be honest.....1/2 a square mile is probably closer to being correct. |

This Saturday we can start shooting bucks down here. Saw a 140' 10point last night when i was out looking on edge, he walked 30 yards from me and never looked my way and kept feeding down the edge. 5 days away, i hope he continues that pattern.

Crenshaw, we can start shooting 'em Saturday, too, but only if we want to hide them from the DEC for two weeks! This stinks. Came home to five turkey in the back yard. (Oh, yeah, turkey season starts the same day!!)
