I went on a river run this weekend, I glassed the bank, he's been around.


WNW wind, means I will be hunting on the east side of the river. I will be on the edge of CRP field. In the stand and ready to hunt before 5:00 AM.
7:02 is legal shooting time, at 8:00 I should see him about 100 yds from me laughing[8D]

He is the only shooter I have seen this year, I hope one wanders by from neighbors!!!

I would agree, but I was counting 2007 as 1 year:D I even bought a new trolling motor this year. I am like a really old catfish now on the river. Silent[:-]

Germ, best of luck. Its only a matter of time before you get to put a tag on that beast. given the history you 2 have, its going to be great accomplishment to tag him, yet im sure it will also be alittle bittersweet, knowing he wont be out there to hunt anymore. Best of luck, cant wait to see the pics of you two together.
