I need to start carrying a camera with me in the field. I always seem to get deer in the afternoon, and then it's a mad dash to get the thing to the check station before they close. If they're closed I have to ice it down in the back of my truck overnight and take it to the check station the next morning. Not much time to take pictures.

You guys are all pretty much a holes if you ask me,why would someone come on here just to make up stories?I think everyone in this post that says no pics no deer are probably tennis sweater wearing yuppies who have never actually killed a deerthemselves and want to see a pic so they know what one looks like!

posting that you shot ANYTHING if you aren't willing to post a stinking picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![>:]

NO ONE BELIEVES YOU!!!![:-]
Tony, I usually don't take pictures of the does I shoot. I'll start just to please you!
Thank you Andy

BTW, made another batch of jerky using your recipe, everyone loves it. I also started sprinkling it with coarse black pepper before dehydrating it. Got a new dehydrator from Cabelas, the smaller of the 2 commercial types. Has 12 racks and variable heat and timers, works great.
I have to get a new one myself .... I'm glad you are enjoying it .... I'm waiting on a recipe from AF Hunterthat he says is the best
