im lookin at gettin a predator outfit,,,,, which outfit do you guys perfer... the fall gray or deception... i cant make up my mind.. i like them both... i also looked at asat but i think i like predator better... so help me out here fellas.... which one you guys use??

Exactly nor would the Fall Grey do you any good in the green woods of spring if you'd wear it turkey hunting.

Ask yourself what you need to use it for.

As far as I'm concerned, their best pattern is Fall Brown. You can use it in every season, all year round from turkeys to deer all seasons.

If I were buying several patterns I'd pick up Fall Brown, Fall Grey and Deception. If you buy one for all year round, Fall Brown or Deception. Strictly for deer, Fall Brown, Fall Grey or Deception.

Ask yourself, when are you going to wear it?

No Dave, Fall Brown is like Fall Grey but rather where Fall Grey has the light pattern (almost white depending on fabric), Fall Brown has tans and browns.

Fall Brown is only available through certain higher end stores now such as GWW. If interested, I have contacted a few guys who have some leftover inventory, both new and used, and some of it is fall brown...much cheaper prices, so long as he has your size and pattern interested in in the garment you want.

Fall Grey and Deception are readily available pretty much anywhere predator is.

I went with Deception in order to get the fleece jacket I LOVE, and got a deception hooded bowhunter jacket for 17 bucks used....havent got it in yet. Fall grey likely works better in late season treestand settings, but deception works good enough all season, anywhere, anytime. On ground, in air, spring summer, winter, fall....it should work. My thoughts anyway. Ill likely get some fall grey stuff too as I come across good deals on it. I am upgrading to the predator line of clothing, but through a system of slowly bargain shopping to not break the bank. LOL

By the end of winter Ill be wearing Ultimate or Predator Camo pretty much exclusively. UC for bigger tree setups and turkey hunting, and predator for the stands with little cover.


If you are interested in a cold weather predator jacket, I reccomend getting the deception fleece regardless the pattern you choose. This fleece is deadly silent, and very warm and comfortable.

Now I need to find a good pair of insulated bibs or pants, and I should be pretty well set for this fall.

well i guess brown deception will be the choice. makes sense cause i could use it all year round..
