It's hard to tell without seeing his belly and back end. He is definitely no more than 2.5, but as the other have said he very well could be 1.5 too. Can't you tell him to pose better for us.;)

I will pass on him now but if i have another season full of spikes.........
The best way to ensure that all you see next year is spikes is to shoot deer like this when they are 1.5.

But hey, thats coming from an elitist and judgemental jack ass from Texas.

Give him another year. I think he looks like a very impressive 1.5 yr old.If your having problems with spikes and forkies, I would keep that buck around for a 2 or 3 years to get his genes spread. He has good potential

I think his head looks old.I say shoot him and have the biologist age him.

He looks pretty young in the face. He does have a great rack though. Very good buck in my opinion. Let those genes get around!
