I'm a retired state police officer. Served my 34 years and waved goodbye 4 1/2 years ago. Right now I'm just trying to stay busy between hunting seasons.
Lovin' every minute of it!

Outfitter at Cabela's over in La Vista, Nebraska

use to work as an account transfer specialist in the Wealth Management Department at First National Bank in Omaha. Got tired of all the back stabbing and politics.

I manage the fire safety department at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA. Used to be a full time Paramedic in Johnson County, KS before I took this job. Also work part time at our fire department as a firefighter/paramedic.

Bow season opens Oct 1 in Iowa! Cant wait, probably going to be a bit warm but got some new warm hunting clothing so I should be ready… Also think I have the bow pretty well tuned out to 40 yards with a 100 Montec BH and N-fused axis arrow, cant wait to see what I can do to a deer with them.

Your absolutely correct...
Just some good old fashion testicle fortitude pulled me through a tough time.
I didn't have to go bankrupt or layoff my team of employees who helped make my company what it is.
Just some personal sacrifice along with my family life for awhile and it's all better now.
I certainly don't mind the 10 hour days again, as it sure beats 16-17 hours per day![&:]
