my husband had been hearing the all early doe season. Opening day we went out, and I shot one. It was my first deer ever. he was so proud as was my entire family. After that i wasnt in a real hurry to get back out. I really wanted him to get one. he went out front and sat there and sat there all night till there wasnt any shooting light. I went out back and sat there and sat there...just in time 6 doe come out in front of me...i passed. I wanted him to get them the next day. well the next day only 2 came back and there were after dark..so the family deer count.

First off, welcome to the forum! Great to have you here.

Second, congrats on the doe and your first deer. You never forget that one.

Third, I was thinking the same thing as VAShadow. Where is there a gun season open this early?

Fourth, since you are new we will forgive you, but you have broken a cardinal rule of the bowhunting forum by not posting a picture. We love to see everyone's successes.;)

Michigan had one from the 18th to the 22nd or 21st.

I do live in michigan we had the early doe season for a week. I havent posted any pictures yet i will have to do that when i put it on my computer. thanks for the congrats. and the welcome.
