When skinning your deer, once you get to the front shoulders, don't cut anymore. Just roll the skin down toward the neck similar to taking a sock off inside-out. When ready, just the head/neck off being sure not to cut the skin.
Correct. Err on the side of caution.

I do what Zubba suggests.....and I take the ENTIRE cape (I roll it up over the head and sort of "envelope" the head in the cape). I then double bag it and get it in the freezer immediately.....OR take it straight to my taxi. He is the first phone call I make.....to see if I need to freeze or not.
