When your baiting your not hunting and there is nothing that is hunting when you bait michigan is trying to make there hunters hunt. And not bait. baiting should be illegal or dont call yourselves hunters. No hunting is the act of searching or hunting for a deer. I wont use a tree stand. I just feel that baiting is hunting and your not doing anything you know where the deer will be. And I guess this is a personal preference. You guys dont care as long as everyone gets their deer. Im one of these guys who would rather find a deer along paths and game trails in valleys near streams and such. If you follow deer to corn fields or other food sources that not baiting thats knowing deer habitat.
