RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Well, when Bowtech called me today they saidthat they are fully aware that people will be posting this on the net.You don't think that any oneat Bowtech actually expected dealers to keep this quiet do you Matt?
I really wish bow manufacturers wouldn't introduce bows, pictures, specs, etc...to ANYONEuntil November. We still have almost a month to go before archery season starts here in NW Florida and Alabama. Last year they told me thatnew modelswould not be "leaked" until November. I guess that is out the window. Oh well. I will be placing my order for the 2009'sin the next couple of days and the 2008's will be clearanced big time. Anyone want 2008 Diamonds cheap???????? Cash and carry. Call me next week. Phone number is in my signature. |

Matt said ass clown
. He is funny.Looks like I will be a ice man and captain. The bows HAVE to be one of the sharpest looking line ups in a while. Innovative to say the least. |

RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
As much as I love the specs/looks of the Brigadier (since I may be in the market for a target bow), I will probably just look for a Constitution, and keep the 101st as my hunting bow. I would love to try the admiral for a hunting bow, but I can't justify spending money on two bows at this point in my life (which is a bummer since I REALLY want to try two new ones this year:D).
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
I don't really like the looks of them. I'm sure they shoot great though.
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
let me ask this, for the guys who have felt them in their hands. what is the weight like. similar to the 08's.
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
I haven't held them but the Admiral, and Iceman are both under 4 pounds.
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
when are these available for sale
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Meh, nothing earth shattering. If the Admiral is really 340, it will be a hot seller. Just too short for my likes.
I'll be waiting to see what Hoyt brings to the table. If nothing really new, I will probably pick up a Katera and retire the ole Dually. |
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Why the big secret anyway
. If the bows are being produced get them to market. I think they ought to be released before Nov too, that's way too late to make a decession and be ready for hunting season. Should be introduced in June/July. |

It IS 2008. ;) |
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Why do they release them this time of year?

RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Yeah, Our 2008 season starts OCTOBER 18th and goes till November 16th.
Introduce the bows November 1st when everyones archery season is well underway and the pre hunting season selling season is over. They will arrive in plenty enough time for theChristmas selling season. We don't all live and work in theMidwest ya know. Don't most of us make the decision on what bow to hunt with in Novemberway back in May, June, July? |
RE: New Bowtech's and Diamond's
Is BowTech completely changing their line up this year? They're coming out with 6 new bows this year.

I want an ICEMAN, I will have an ICEMAN!
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
I really like the looks of the new riser designs very sharp. No numbers that have been listed really jump out at me, but I think Bowtech took a lot of the good things they were doing and made some improvements on them so that should be good.
It is curious to see the SWAT and Sniper having standard cable guards with the majority of the line-up carrying the cable rollers. It looks like Bowtech will have another big selling year this year. We certainly have enough choices. |
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
THANK YOU BOWTECH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:D

I believe I can answer you question about them moving the suppressors. On my new 101stI was having problems with the string loop rotating around the string after every shot. I had it tightened and retied a few times but still had the problem. I took it back to the shopand spoke toone of the more knowledgeable guys. He told methe suppressor isto close to loop causing it to snap around. I had an after market one put on in the lower position and problem solved. There was also a problem with the kisser buttons not staying on and being to close to old suppressor. It also seems to quieter now. Ken |

Oh man are those bad. I love how they all look. I really like the admiral and the captain. Time for a new bow I think. [8D][8D]

RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
I still say it guys most of these bows still wont be available to early 09 I would imagine. Or at least the people who will get them first are pro staffer shooters and corporate advisory staff. The general public wont get them right away.
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Well, all amazing shooters I'm sure. However, all of my bows from here on out will be 36"+ ATA, so the Sentinel is looking mighty attractive to me. The Brigadier (hopefully Matt or one of the Bowtech guys can fill me in at the appropriate time) seems to be similar to the Constitution, and I want a target bow, so it will be interesting to compare those two.

RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
I am PRAYING Mossy Oak TREESTAND is an option on the Diamond line up!
|
RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
Matt and Rob, I understand all that but why not change the introductory date and heave the dealers do then what they do now to rid them selfs of last years models. If Bowtech or any manufacturer for that matter released their lineup in say June the dealers would have between tax time and June to get rid of old inventory. A lot of bows I would imagine are bought with tax refunds. Then you would have your new bow dialed in for hunting season. I can see the importance of not leaking info. A customer might opt to wait for the new lineup after seeing what they are offering instead of taking a good deal on last years model. IMO it just makes good business sense. Just move everything back a few months. Shouldn't be that hard to do. Just my thinking.

RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
One pro to releasing bows now (for the companies at least)is that many of us have bowhunting fever right now. Some of us have it year round, but there are many casual hunters who are dusting off their old bows now getting ready for season and are realizing they might need to think about new equipment. There are others, that don't think of hunting season until its upon them and then they are all "gun ho". People have bows and bowhunting on the brain right now as opposed to say Jan-June and that might be why the companies release bows in Oct/Nov.

RE: New Bowtech and Diamond Pics!
I WANT ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I bought the Marquis last Christmas, so no new bows for me for a while.[:@] |
