a SE wind that blows from the NW?

Yes, that is what happened to me last week which really sucked. In fact it happened to me the previous day too except it was NW which shifted SE. All afternoon there was a pretty steady 12mph breeze from the SE but a half hour before dark it died downa bit.Yet, I could feel it just carressing the back of my neck and pushing my scent in the direction I was anticipating deer to come.

I knew that hunting in hilly terrain could spell shifty winds but I never thought that it could turn a wind in the opposite direction of where it's coming from. Suffice to say my hunt was ruined so I just go down before I got busted and did damage to that spot.

Here in LA the wind was swirling all weekend. I got busted Sat. evening. I wanted to kill one bad too, cause my dad got one that morning and was talking smack to me hahaha....

Deal with that here all the time. Forecasters can't even get it right. I just try to stay sprayed down and hope for the best.
