Deer Anatomy
 
With a lot of guys hitting the woods, and soon to be a lot of posts hitting the site about tracking and such, I stumbled across this site and thought I'd post a link if the mods allow it. Maybe this will help some new hunters understand why they only get 2" of penetration on a "perfect shot" made "behind the shoulder".

Anyways, I hope some find it helpful. I think we should keep the post rolling, or stick it up top, as I haven't seen this on here in a long long time. Or maybe I missed it....

nice like need to be keep at the top for others. i have been looking at alot of butcher field dressing video lately to get ready i plan to process my own meat this season.
