How long do you wait.....
 

..before you decide that you have to quit waiting for the monster of the woods? Last year I had some big camera pics and when I had some decent size bucks right under me, I decided to hold out. Well, it didn't pay off and my year was ended empty handed. This year I will hold out for Mr. Big about 3 to 4 sits before I will try and take something . So do you hold out all season or is anything game from day 1 ?

i have 2 buck tags and numerous doe tags. on fort knox the bucks have to have a antler spread of at least 12 inches before you can kill it. they other place i hunt you have to have 15 inch outside spread to shoot it. so i am trying to find some private property. illinois i get two tags also. there there is not spread limit. so i am going to kill a decent buck then save my other tag for that monster. i almost shot bambi the other day lol. but held off. never shot a deer before so i got excited. depending on how many tags you have for bucks i would take what you can to get that meat in your freezer.
