Hunting with an HNI friend.
 

I just invited Kanga,(ausie-guy-Russell), to join me next weekend for our Texas archery opener. Russ and I have shared the woods in the past hog hunting. We have also shot a couple of 3-Ds together. He also recently built me a custom longbow. I didn't know him until a couple of years ago and I met him through this site.
We will be hunting land owned by my wifes boss. About 400 acres north of Abilene Tx. This land has seen 1 week of gun hunting pressure in the last 3 years. There are some good deer out there and I feel good about our chances. The best part though has to be sharing time in the woods with a friend. I got to thinking about GMMAT and his woods full of HNI friends this weekend. Who else will be hunting with someone they met through this site?

I've sorta hunted with the Rev when he shot his freak doe last year and had some coaching from Russ on my archery and he has build arrows for me.I hope to someday hunt with more members or even just get to hangout with them.Good luck on the first hunt with the Kanga Kustom next weekend!;)
