help with fletchings?

My bag target is getting worn out and i've punched two arrows through it in the last two days. This tends to make the fletchings kinda wavy and they dont fly worth a crap after that. I was wondering if there was a way to fix them without totally having to refletch them?

squirrel--get a blow dryer. Set it on high heat. Heat up the vane for about 1-2 minutes on high heat...it should begin to straighten out...if it is a little stubborn, just pull a little on the fletching when it is hot to straighten it out--just gently over and over. Try it out.

would an actual heat gun be any better? or would that be a bit overkill? I think i remember someone saying you could also put the fletchings over a boiling pot of water?

Not sure squirrel---heat gun might be too spot specific and may actually damage your fletching adhesion....blow dryer works well for me.

Get a fletching jig and replace them when they get worn out. VERY worth while tool! Also try putting some extra stuffing in your bag.

I thought they said to put them "in" boiling water until warm, then let them cool and they will be straight. You're not going to hurt the arrow doing this, thats for sure.
