Hey KNUCKLEHEAD....Most of our seasons haven't started!!!! If you're asking last season, about 35 different racked bucks, the largest being about 120" and the smallest being spikes and forkies. But I had probably 35 different bucks within easy bow range that I let live so I can meet them again this year and next year and the next hopefully.

I have not had a deer in sight so far, but I did shoot a turkey.

I havent even seen a rack from stand yet...the only deer I have seen were spooked past the blind by other hunters....looks like it might be a lond season.

I dont know if this really counts as passing on one, but last night I had a 6 point that never came any closer than about 40 yards, but I would have past on him anyways.

Havent seen any bucks yet, i passed on 12 does so for... Ok maybe they past me but thats not the point lol!

I've passed on 0 bucks, and 0 does cause I'm not lucky enough to hunt yet as the season doesn't open til Oct 1st.... Good luck to everyone who is hunting already!

Passed on all 3 shooters on account of the season isn't open yet here in PA... Been sitting in my set up and have seen 1 nice buck with 4 doe and some fawns. Thought about throwing the camera at the big buck. The other 2 buck i have seen while just strolling the woodz with my camera.

i might choose NOT to take a shot at one....

but i know stuff can and WILL happen....theres no such thing as PASSING...choosing not to take a shot is a much better choice of words...


just a pet peeve of mine....then again, i guess some guys are THAT good they do PASS deer? i dont know...

I passed on one decent buck and about 5 very young ones so far. There is no shortage of bucks on our property, but there's only two I've seen that I'd shoot at, especially this early in the season.

I pass alot of them standing on the side of the road. My season has not started either.

3 bucks for me. 2 does they were all small deer.

Our season doesn't begin unti October 1st. I didn't pass any up last year, but they sure passed me up! :D

Only deer I've had in bow range was a spike buck...with about 8" MB's. Never touched the bow, of course.....but he ate honeysuckles at 9 yds for about a minute.

Passed? No interest. He was a nice body-sized buck, though....and he'll make someone happy one day.

Saturday I had in bow Range 9 diferent bucks one being very respectable but I was waiting on the one I took. Last night I had a 6, 4, and a spike eat under for an hour actually had to run them off to get down at 8:30.

Good call, Jim. The reason I didn't take photos.....is it was 7:20PM....and this was the first deer I'd seen in 8 hours on stand. Since the bucks are still traveling in groups.....I was afraid I'd be snapping photos when the big boys came behind him. Had he not stopped to eat.....I'd have had about 2 seconds to decide whether to shoot, or not. So I didn't want to be shooting pictures if his dad and uncles were behind him.

It was really thick where I was. Here....in some places.....I'll have ample opportunity for photos....and I'll be posting many.

I've had 1 4x4 in the velvet early at 20 yards, 1 nice 4x4 at 40 yards so far for bucks. 1 bull elk, spike at 3 yards off the ground I passed on too. Had over 20 cow elk within 10-40 yards so far. 1 bull moose at 10 yards for 3-4 minutes.. but no permit, but it was a cool encounter.

I passed on 5 bucks i think before the big one came in up in North Dakota...

Havent passed on any in MO yet. Hunted this morning and only saw a few does...

Passed on 2 small bucks and a few does. I've seen a good number of bucks but nothing close or worth shooting.

I shot the first mature buck (225lbs.) hat came in range and was only a 4 point. He looked like a fire breathing dragon that needed to be stopped....
