game carts

there is one thing i have left to buy a game cart. I was thinking the cabelas super mag hauler for 149.99

I know it high for game carts but i do not want a cheap cart it has 20 inch puncture proof tires and could haul 550 pound 700 if you buy the extra wheel kit.
Is that a good one or is there a better model out there

Never used one, but like anything, you get what you pay for, so im guessing you should buy the best you can afford!;)

Your name is very misleading. [&:]Tim whenever you shoot your deer why not call up a buddy and have em help you drag it? I drag all mine out myself and I know your bigger than I am.

Tim, I bought a game cart myself after last season(Big Game from Rural King, heavy duty model rated at 500 lbs.) on sale. I've not used it yet but it looks like a good one. Same wheels with spokes as the Cabelas model and I need to put some spoke protectors on it also. At 54 years old I don't care much for dragging deer any longer, especially if the deer weighs more than I do.

The super mag is the one to get from Cabela's. If you are going to be going to real heavy brush, get the spoke protectors. The spokes and wheels are very sturdy. The protectors help more in just protecting hang ups from occurring. I've used mine to haul firewood and stands as well. Very good cart.

Last year I bought Cabela's Alum-i-Lite Game Cart ($139), with a 250lb capicity, which is plenty for me. I love this cart. Very well made.;)

Built my own out of 1" EMT and a couple of old mountain bike tires. Probably cost me about $30.00 and a few hours of my time. My only complaint is that I didn't do it sooner. It will go in the back of the P/U today and stay there thru the end of the year.
