About tires while hunting

I just bought land inNC and i am goingnext week for a week. I pull a 6X12 enclosed trailer that i use to camp in. The field was just harvested for feed corn. My question is, while driving to back of the field where i camp, do you think i have to worry about the stalks peircing a tire. They stick up about 6". you have all seen them im sure, or do you think my truck tires will just smush them? Thanks

Ive heard of it pucturing ATV tires.... and getting into the bead... But A good solid truck tire, you might be ok... the silage trucks have tires too.

You have a decent 3-ply sidewall on those BFGs. I've seen guys pinch those things in between some of the nastiest rocks, and never even blow a bead. Granted, they were running about 10-12psi, but you will be just fine with corn stalks;) However, just do what most advised and try to stay in the lanes between the corn.

I'm running Mickey Thompson Baja's, and I DO DONUTS LIKE CRAZY in cornfields. local farmer encourages us to rip up the field as he has to turn the soil with his machine anyway. Other than cornstalks getting in hard to reach places, You should be good to go with your tires.

I used to have 35" Baja radials and 35" Good Year MTR's on my Jeep and never punctured a tire in the cornfields.

No you do not need to worry. It will not puncture a tire.
