Hitlist 2008

Here are some of the deer we will be chasing this fall. Ty, Larry, Shawn and myself have had cameras out all summer and have been scouting hard. Hopefully it will pay off starting Monday on the MO opener!

Shawn and I will be hunting this buck opening morning most likely. We have been seeing him regularly on his way back to bed in the mornings.

This is the only picture Shawn got of this buck, but he looks like a pretty good one...

Scendaro Buck

Here he is three years in a row....

Octopus Buck

Tipster - Hopefully Larry and Ty will catch up with this guy early...hes been very regular the past few weeks...

Too-Tall 10

...and 'Total Package' - Ty got some daylight pictures the other day of him...hes grown quite a bit and looks very impressive!

Shawn also got some video of a STUD 6X5 and i tried to take a clip of it but couldn't get it to work...unfortunately we havent gotten any trail cam pics of him yet...

Those bucks are all studs, but Total Package looks great to me. Something about those double drops does it for me.

Good luck fellas.

Beyond Comprehension.

Having that many deer like that in my hunting area is as far fetched as me being a millionaire & dating a swimsuit model.

This deer looks like a "Dink" compared to the others....just curious as to why you, who has the potential to shoot way bigger deer would even consider taking this deer this year and not giving him one more year? Don't get me wrong, he is a very nice deer, but I'd think your own "standards" would cause you to pass on him until next yr. I wish I had the "menu" of Monsters you have running around;)

The only reason that we might shoot this deer is because he is the most predictible and is on a property that we might not have much longer. He does need another year, thats for sure...BUT, hes very patternable for opening morning. Were not going to hunt him hard or anything, but were going to give it a shot early. He'll make a good moviestar! ;)

Oh, ok, that explains it, just since I've joined this site, I know you have the rep. as beingcovered in Huge Deer year in and year out....and this deer wasn't in that same"class". Good luck, looking forward to the "After the shot" story on him.;)

But he filled out nicely in this pic.

That is one reason I am not a big fan of velvet bucks. He almost looks skrawny in velvet.

Dude these are studs. Don't let them bucks or the pressure get to ya, that first deer is a toad as well...and if I am seeing the tops of the numbers correctly, thats a July photo. If he is big enough for ya, he is big enough for nearly anyone..Stick him and smile from ear to ear for piling it on. Youve been on a roll the last few years.

From the looks of it, your guy's hard work and goodhabitat is paying off.:)
